1947 Lincoln Town Car V12 Sedan with 47,000 original miles. Extremely Low production luxury at its finest in 1947. This car remains largely original still wearing most of its original Black paint with only some touch ups here and there. It does have its fair share of dings and scrapes from over 70 years of careful use, but overall is very straight with no evidence of any bodywork repairs performed on the car. It has no rust with the exception of very light surface rust (the kind that comes off with sandpaper) where there are paint chips and on the undercarriage where paint was thin or worn off. Very solid floors, trunk, and rockers on this Unibody Chassis. Powered by a 292 cu in V-12 and overdrive transmission. Both were rebuilt some years back under the 45 year plus ownership of collector Duane Sells. The Interior was refinished with correct Lebaron Bonney sourced materials. The garnish mouldings, dash, and wood grained accents are still original and in beautiful shape. All of the weatherstripping and seals are original and still in very nice shape. All four power windows work great. The trunk retains all of its original panels and still has the original jack in its bag. Brakes and fuel system were recently gone through. All lights work including Blinkers. This lincoln drives very nice and the overdrive is fully operational. Chrome still shines nice with aging evident. Overall this car has wonderful Patina and has been amazingly preserved. Comes with purchase documents from 1973 and a little previous history and a worn out photo from the 50’s (or earlier)
