1974 Plymouth Duster. Original 360 high performance package car documented by the vin and still retains its original build sheet and fender tag, both marked “Special Handling Car” . Original engine went missing so a 360 block was sourced and bored .020 over. Its fitted with forged pistons and a 4″ Eagle stroker crank bringing the cubic inchs up to 408. It has Hughes engines 360 Magnum cylinder heads with 1.6 ratio roller rocker arms and a hughes HEH2832AL cam made for “Hot Street Use” Miloden 8 quart Pan and hi Volume oil pump was added to enhance the oiling system. It has an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and 750 Holley Carburetor. Distributor is a mopar electronic. Headers are TTI with custom 3″ exhaust and x pipe. 904 Automatic transmission was performance built by SMR Transmissions and has a Joe Lupo 2800 stall convertor and deep pan. Rear differential was upgraded with an 8-3/4 3.23 ratio Sure Grip. Super Stock Springs were sourced from Mopar Performance. Heavy Duty front and rear sway bars greatly improve the cars handling. Options Include Power disc brakes, air conditioning with upgraded Sanyo compressor and R134A refrigerant, power steering, and a custom stereo that sounds amazing. Rolls on 15×7 and 8″ Cragar SS rims with BFG radials that are nearly new. This was an original California car with an amazing rust free and straight body. It was shipped to Denver and was stripped to bare metal and professionally resprayed in its original color of Sienna Poly. The car is very straight, fully sanded and buffed, and has excellent gaps and fitment throughout. The floors underneath have never been blacked out so you can see how nice and original they are. The Parchment Interior was completely redone and is beautiful. Dash has one small crack up front by the vin plate that you can only see with the dash mat removed. All of the gauges work and the guage panel was restored. It has a Tuffy Steering wheel. The radio was has been converted to modeern internals but retains its original look. All chrome and stainless are show quality. All seals and weatherstripping are like new. Drives great around town and is well sorted. Floor it and you will burn rubber! It ran a 13.36 / 101.11mph at 4600ft which at sea level would be a 12.03 at 111.893 mph quarter mile run. Amazing Car!
