1940 Ford Coupe. Pro Built from the ground up utilizing a TCI Chassis with Heidts full chrome independent front suspension and rack and pinion steering. Ford 9″ differential with 3.55 gears and Parallel Leaf spring suspension. Chassis mounted power disc Brakes with 10″ drums in the rear. All Steel original Ford Body and fenders with all new floors installed. The body was stripped to bare metal and all of the body gaps were expertly massaged for excellent fit. Panels are very straight and the single stage factory color of Folkstone Grey looks great. During the build all of the glass was replaced with new smoked grey safety and all new weatherstripping was installed. Full custom interior with a very comfortable and adjustable Glide seat, tilt column with Banjo Wheel, and VDO gauges. Overhead Console with gauges and Pioneer stereo system. Extra sound deadening was used for a very quiet cabin while driving. Vintage Air AC and heat are among the many comforts this 40 boasts. Powered by a Blown Full Roller 383 Stroker engine custom built with a Bowtie Block, DART Head, stainless valves, forged crank and pistons, HD rods, MSD ignition , B&M 250 Blower, and twin 600cfm Edelbrock Carburetors. Backed by a TH400 with 2800 stall convertor. Rolls on Custom width 1940 style steel rims with BFG radials fitted for the perfect stance. Great looking 40 Coupe that is truly a pleasure to drive. Barely broken in with just over 1000 miles on the build.
