1968 Firebird restoration project or enjoy as is. This car has been in Tucson most of its life and has been driven regularly. The gentleman I purchased it from has owned the car over 22 years. Extremely solid car that has no rust except for some pitting/ bubbling under the rubber floor mat in the trunk due to a leaky seal. It still feels very solid and there are no pinholes. Floors and rockers are rock solid. There are only 2 dents on this car, one on the passenger side quarter above the wheel well that is very minor and one big push in dent on the passenger side rocker caused buy a parking curb. The rest of the body is extremely straight and there is no evidence of any repairs. The hood and fender have primer on them applied by the previous owner to prevent rust on the areas that the paint wore through down to bare metal. 350 engine I believe is original (YJ code) with long branch D port header exhaust manifolds added. Nicely optioned car with factory AC(that works! but fan switch does not change speeds) , power disc brakes, power steering, and sway bars front and back. The turn signal switch does not stay on and needs replaced otherwise this is a fully functional driver. Runs and drives good but is in need of a full cosmetic restoration.
