1964 Corvette 365HP Convertible in Daytona Blue with Hardtop and original Documentation. Fully restored in the late 80’s and received a Top Flight award scoring 94 points at the Indianapolis Speedway NCRS meet in 1991. Matching numbers L76 365HP engine and Muncie 4 speed transmission. Documented with its original window sticker and Warranty book from “West Chevrolet.” Restored as original with Dealer added Hard Top as well as the correct original restored white folding top. This car was originally a Daytona Blue, Knock off wheel, J65 Power metallic brake car which in combination with the powerful 365HP engine and 411 posi rear make this a very desirably optioned car.
Always garaged and well cared for, this corvette still shows very well with only minimal noted flaws from use. (Shown in Pics) The body has no evidence of panel replacement and all bonding strips are intact. Paint still shines beautiful and was very well done. Little paint touch ups and small flaws are noted in the pics.
Mechanically the car is excellent and runs out very well. Everything including the radio and wipers work great. Driver side headlight has been acting up and I suspect the electric motor will need rebuilding.
All of the chrome and stainless is in very good shape and show very little age, The vent windows have some very minor aging as seen in pics.
Interior is excellent with the exception of two small cuts in the drivers seat. Dash is beautiful and has all of the correct 365HP original gauges.
This Vette runs and drives fabulous and is ready to enjoy. Rarely do you come across a real original documented matching numbers 365hp car. Stunning car that you can get in and enjoy without having a heart attack if it happens to get a road chip like you would a freshly restored show car.
