1963 Fairlane B/FX Thunderbolt. This is a re-creation of the original factory experimental prototype that became the 1964 Thunderbolt. Powered by a balanced 351ci V8 Windsor engine (original BFX was 260v8)(AFX was the 427) backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. Equipped with a 4-barrel Holley AED Performance 650cfm carburetor, high-rise Edelbrock manifold, Jet Hot Coated headers, and MSD electronic ignition. Rolls on powdercoated steel rims with Mickey Thompson drag skinnys up front and Cheater Slicks out back.
Very nice paint and body in Wimbledon White . Show quality job, very straight and fully buffed. All of the decals are removable if the new owner wishes to do so. All of the chrome and stainless are in great shape.
Interior is all new restored to original with all correct materials. The headliner was not replaced and is in good original condition except for one small tear in the C pillar. Bought a new headliner but it has not been installed yet and accompanies the car. Beautifully restored dash and gauges. It has a Moon Tach up top and auto gauge supplemental gauges under the dash. The dashboard is autographed by Bill Humphrey, who was a test driver for Ford back when these cars were built.
Includes documentation in a three-ring binder with recent photographs and receipts of the motor build. Sounds fantastic with the side exhaust! Fun and Fast car!
