1949 MGTC roadster restored to a very high standard by an MG enthusiast. Matching numbers example with SCCA and FCCA rally history since new.

Originally a southern California car, it remains rust free with excellent panel fitment and extremely straight body panels. Show Quality paint in British Racing Green fully sanded and buffed to a mirror finish. The undercarriage is nicely detailed with floors in Body color and under fenders in a nicely contrasting orange. All of the chrome and brightwork were refinished. The King lights beautifully replated. All of the seals and weatherstrips replaced.

Interior redone in Black with adjustable drivers seat. Dash was redone including beautifully restored gauges. Comes with the folding top and side curtains that were never reinstalled after the cars restoration. The top is in good condition and the side curtains are fair due to some cracks in the clear portions. Likely original.

Matching numbers XPAG 1250CC engine with dual SU carbs. Starter and alternator date code correct for car, even the rebuilt radiator retains its original brass tag. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts nicely and the clutch is very user friendly.

Rolls on correct 19 wire rims with chrome Knock off hubs and Commander 4.50 tires.

Vey Cool history, comes with a beautifully framed collection of Rally badges dating back to the 1950’s showing this car was treated as a collector vehicle from day one. Runs outstanding with no issues. Ready for the next Rally or car show.
