1942 Mercury 2 dr Sedan Street Rod. Mercury only produced 4430 vehicles in total for 1942, one of the lowest production years for the brand due to World War 2 production. This  one was built into a street rod over 30 years ago and has plenty of modern upgrades to make it more comfortable, powerful, and reliable.

Powered by a GM 350 v8 with th350 automatic 3 speed transmission. It has MSD electronic ignition, an Edelbrock intake, air cleaner, and valve covers, holley 650cfm carburetor, heavy duty aluminum radiator, and custom dual exhaust.

Comfort features include Vintage Air AC and Heat, Power steering, power disc brakes, tilt column, and pioneer Stereo. Interior was completely custom refinished in gray Tweed with console shifted automatic transmission, 3 spoke wheel, and VDO gauges.

The Chassis was upgraded with an independent  front clip with heavy duty sway bar. Out back the differential was upgraded to a GM 10 bolt with highway gears and Parallel leaf spring suspension. Rolls on chromed Rally Rims and 15” radials that were replaced new in 2020.
