1941 Buick Super Torpedo 2 door Sedan. Powered by the venerable Fireball 8 engine with optionable “Compound Carburetion.” Backed by a 3 speed manual transmission and 4 wheel hydraulic brakes.
Full restoration approximately 15 years ago. This solid always rust free Arizona Buick was stripped to bare metal before its repaint in Tuxedo Black. Paint and body are show quality, very straight panels and fully sanded and buffed for a mirror finish. Excellent panel fitment throughout. All of the chrome and stainless were refinished during restoration. All of the weatherstripping, seals , and door fuzzies were replaced with new. The side glass is new, front and rear are in very good condition.
A complete reproduction cloth bound wiring harness was installed and most everything works except the clock and the radio buttons are finicky.(but it does work) Car has factory turn signals, rare for a 41 model year car, these Buicks were quite advanced for the time!
Interior restored from top to bottom. Dash and garnish Mouldings have the correct hand laid woodgraining. Gauges and steering wheel were restored.
Car drives nice and tight and handles well. Steers with ease and brakes straight.
This rare Torpedo sedan has only 1200 careful miles accumulated since its restoration. Ready to Show or perfect for a Sunday cruiser.
