1937 Lincoln Zephyr 3 window coupe. Extremely Solid Southern California Zephyr that underwent a complete restoration in the 80’s and was just recently tightened up and lowered here at the Shop. Solid original floors and factory undercoating. No evidence of any rust or rust repairs. Excellent body fitment. Paint refinished in factory “Grove Green,” over 40 years ago but still shines beautifully with only small imperfections here and there. Chrome was refinished at the same time and shows very little age, still looks great.
Interior was just cleaned up with new wool door panels and German square weave carpet with leather heel Pad. One of the most beautiful Dash designs in existence, beautifully restored with original manuals in the passenger glove box. Windows roll up and down with ease. Still retains its original “Hurd” keys.
The V12 engine runs amazing with no smoke. Topped with an ultra-rare Edelbrock dual carb intake with matching LZ Stromburgs. 3 speed manual transmission and clutch operate smoothly. I lowered the car 3″ up front and 5-1/2″ in back for an era custom stance. I retained the original Leafs and they will accompany the car. Pete and Jakes tube shocks were added for a better ride. Brakes work great and stop straight.
The 37 Zephyr is the pinnacle of Art Deco Design for US built cars and certainly one of the most amazing cars of the era. Technologically advanced with unibody construction and v12 power, owning one of these made a statement back then and even more so now as these cars rarely are seen and even more rare are they for sale. Comes with documentation from the Henry Ford Museum showing build record, options, and delivery to Long Beach, CA in February of 1936.
