Live Bidding underway at 1934 Ford Other | Hemmings.com . 1934 Ford Woody Station Wagon. Meticulously restored over 30years ago and looks as if it was restored last year. This rare Woody was a Dearborn Award Winning Car as well as a Grand National Senior.
The car retains All of its original Sheetmetal including the floors. It was repainted in Factory Cordoba Tan with Black Fenders using correct Lacquer paint. Fully Sanded and buffed to a mirror finish with very straight panels. All brightwork was restored. The Wooden Body retains much of its original Lumber and only had replacement pieces fitted as needed. Excellent finish and Fitment that retains all of its original hardware. Rarely seen Sliding Canvas windows with all of the roof hardware intact. Correct three row seating with covers fitted from Lebaron Bonney. Gorgeous 33 Dash insert with turned aluminum gauge Cluster. All gauges work except fuel, it also has a cool accessory oil pressure gauge. The Glove Box inside was signed by The Legendary “Beach Boys” in 2007.
Powered by its original 221 V8 Flathead engine with 3 speed transmission. The Carburetor was upgraded to a Stromburg 97 for added power. This car is equipped with a Columbia 2 Speed overdrive rear differential that works great with a flip of the lever on the Dashboard. Very nice option to have for road trips!
