Pro Built all Steel (and Wood!) 1933 Ford Woody By Hercules Body co. Hercules Bodies are well known for their superior build quality and craftsmanship and offer nice upgrades such as front door roll up windows, stationary rear glass, and a rear hatch, (original were canvas throughout until 1938 model year).

Paint and bodywork were finished to show quality standard, laser straight and fully sanded and buffed. Under fenders and floors were painted with a chip resistant German coating painted body color to match. The Body was hand built and finished by Hercules with numerous coats of Spar Varnish and is stunning. All of the Chrome work was carried out by “Finishing Touch of Chicago” and is show quality. The interior features an adjustable front seat and high quality wool materials used throughout.

Powered by a 221″ Flathead built by flathead specialists ” H&H Flatheads.” Upgraded with dual Stromburg 97’s, Eddie Meyer High Compression heads, electronic ignition, Hi Torque starter,  and 12v alternator that looks like a generator. Reds headers and dual exhaust with Smithy mufflers sound great. Cooled by a Heavy Duty “Brassworks” radiator.  The 1939  3 speed manual transmission was built by Michael Driscoll of “Third Gen Auto.” Equipped with a rare 2 speed Columbia overdrive axle built by Dan Krehbell.

The Chassis remains stock with the exception of 1939 Lincoln Hydraulic brakes, F100 steering box, and tube shocks on all 4 corners. The Firestone “deluxe Champions” were new in 2023 and are 5.25/5.50-17 all around.

The electrical system is all 12volt with the battery cleverly hidden in a Coca Cola Cooler out back. The wiring harness is all modern with modern fuse block. The original radio was converted to FM and 12volt. The Dial on glove box door still adjusts the station as factory. The Clock was converted to a tachometer. Fuel Gauge is not working but all other gauges and lights work, current mileage is 984.

You would be hard pressed to find a nicer 33 Woody anywhere at any price. Built using only the best parts and assembled by the best builders around.
