1933 Ford Cabriolet. All original Henry Ford original Steel body, fenders, and Chassis. Stock exterior with modern upgrades for reliability, performance, and comfort.
The stock Chassis was upgraded with a Dropped front axle, Disc Brakes, and a Flaming river Vega Style steering box. The rear differential was upgraded to a Ford 8″ with Parallel Leaf springs. Powered by a crate 300HP GM 5.7 liter V8 with Edelbrock intake, carb, and electronic ignition. A Walker Heavy Duty Brass radiator and thermostat controlled fan keep the car cool. Custom headers and dual exhaust sound great. Engine backed by a th350 Automatic and LOKAR shifter. Rolls on 16″ Wire rims with Coker “Radial” tires that have a traditional bias Ply tire appearance. Its lowered about 4″ in front and 3″ in the back. Just enough to give it a slight Hot Rod Stance.
The interior was fully insulated and redone in genuine Leather. Carpets are German Square Weave. Vintage Air AC and heat keep the cabin cool. Being a genuine Cabriolet it has roll up windows and a folding Canvas top. The canvas top is in excellent shape and goes up and down in only a few minutes with no tools needed. It was originally a light tan but has a uniform sunfading on the exterior. It has a custom large back window and also the stock size rear window. You can zip either in however because the stock size window was not used it is a lighter tan and stained a bit from being stuffed away. Car has a Clarion Stereo system and Stewart Warner gauges. There are plug ins for phone chargers etc. There is a rumble seat out back for the kids or your Mother in Law.
The Original Steel body was stripped to bare metal and professionally refinished in “Washington Blue”. The Show quality finish was fully sanded and buffed to a mirror finish. It has only very minor chip touch ups here and there from normal use. Ive tried to capture them in the photos. Beautiful chrome throughout and a perfect grille.
Amazing Early Ford that is a wonderful and comfortable driver. Ready to enjoy!
