1921 Ford Model T “Bonneville Taxi” Custom Built By Darrell Zipp of Zipper Motors as fun transportation to and from Bonneville Salt Flats to the hotels in Wendover during Speed Week. Looks like a stocker but as you get closer you can see all of the modifications Darrell made to make it easy to drive so that he or his wife Rosalee could enjoy it.

Running gear was sourced from a 1970’s Nova with 4 cylinder engine, th350 3 speed automatic transmission, and a 10 bolt differential with drum brakes. The front suspension was upgraded with custom handmade aluminum tapered 4 bar and vega steering box with cross steer. The rear has a ladder bar and buggy spring. The drum brakes are operated by a Wilwood brake Master cylinder under the floor. The original steering column throttle was converted to a gear shifter. 12 volt system with Alternator, stereo, and CB radio.

Full Custom wood bed and tailgate all handmade. Marvins Creations built the tufted seat, Under the seat is a custom aluminum fuel tank. All 5 wheels are extremely rare 1920’s racing knock offs by “Houck.” You may never see another set. Cruises at any speed comfortably, but I’ve never had it past 55. Very cool car built by one of the best fabricators in the business.
