1928 Model A sedan built as a traditional Hot Rod by Jim Williams. This A really performs!
Older cosmetic restoration with Tuxedo Black paint professionally done and still showing remarkably well with only very minor scratches and chip touch ups here and there from use. All original Steel Henry Ford body and fenders. The fenders still have the “ribbed edge.” along the bead you don’t typically find any more on these cars. Body panels are very straight. Interior was sourced from Lebaron Bonney and features flip forward buckets with an adjustable drivers seat that will accommodate taller drivers. Additional gauges were added on the column for engine vitals. 1940s swirl shift knob on the floor shifted 3 speed manual transmission. An auxillary fuel pump and fan were added that are not required but nice to have when needed. All brightwork was professionally nickel plated.
Powered by a freshly built model B motor with Miller OHV conversion, Polished Winfield intake, Stromburg 97 Carb, and electronic ignition. Powermaster alternator disguised as a generator gives this A 12 volt power. This A really rips and sounds amazing!
Previous owner/ builder Jim Williams had the car for over 18 years and his care and expertise resulted in an excellent driving and well sorted traditional Hot Rod. Ready to enjoy.
Chissis slightly lowered and upgraded to 1935 ford brakes up front for improved stopping power. Fitted with 16″ Ford wire wheels in Apple Green with Cragar aluminum Spinner caps.
