1934 Ford 3 Window Coupe. Same owner from 1951 until 2010. Owner/ restorer Don Sweigart purchased the car in 1951 for $150 with money he made during his high school job at the Ford Motor Co plant in Chester, PA. The car got parked and carefully tucked away in 1958 until he pulled it out in 1999 to start a complete correct restoration to original that took 6 years. All of the hard work and attention to detail payed off as it received an AACA preservation award, An AACA National first place award in 2007 and 2008, as well as a coveted Dearborn Award in 2008. This car is Stunning.

The body was very good before restoration, it was stripped to bare metal and professionally refinished in Black. Paint is fully sanded and buffed, body is straight as an arrow for a mirror like reflection. The door, hood, and trunk gaps are very good. All of beads on the original fenders are very nice and there is no evidence of poor bodywork from underneath, everything was metal finished extremely nice. All chrome and stainless parts were restored to show quality.

Correct Deluxe Lebaron Bonney interior including in the rumble seat area. Beautifully woodgrained Dash and garnish mouldings. Pop out windshield and roll down rear window. All glass is etched with Ford date codes for 1934.  All weatherstripping and seals were replaced with new. A complete correct cloth bound wiring harness was installed. Gauges were restored and all function properly.

The original 221 V8 was rebuilt with .010 crank, .o20 Rods, and .040 bore. Runs flawlessly. Transmission completely gone through and shifts great. Steering box was rebuilt as was the rear differential. Rolls on Double sided whitewalls and correct 17″ rims in Tacoma Cream.
