1934 Ford Victoria sedan. One of Fords most luxurious and expensive cars offered for the model year. Beautifully restored to Dearborn Award winning standards over 40 years ago and still showing beautifully with only minor signs of age here and there. This Vicky has one of the cleanest and straightest bodies I have seen in an early Ford. Original floors and no signs of patch panels anywhere. Excellent door, hood, and trunk gaps. All of the fender beading is perfect with no repairs evident. Under the fenders show no major body worked areas. Body condition is as nice as they come. Paint is Lacquer in the original “Vineyard Green” and is sanded and buffed for a mirror finish. Body is very straight and finished toShow Quality. Because of its age there are some signs of lacquer cracks and small chip touch ups but they are very limited.
Open the suicide doors and you will see the Interior was restored in all correct materials and patterns likely from Lebaron Bonney. Carpets are correct Wool. All garnish mouldings and dash are woodgrained. Interior still shows fresh with almost no sign of wear. All glass is date coded for the car. All gauges except fuel operate. There are era switches under dash for the KC Fog Lights and a switch on the handle of the “SportLite” spotlight. Headlights, tailights, and cowl lights are operated by the steering wheel control. It is also equipped with a cigarette lighter and peep mirrors.
Exterior Chrome Bumpers and windshield frame are very nice. Grill is extremely straight and shows very little chrome aging. Headlight buckets and trim rings on the wire wheels show Patina.
The 221 V8 engine runs beautifully and has good power with the upgraded 97 Carburetor. No Smoke and no out of the ordinary oil leaks. Drives wonderfully and the transmission shifts smoothly. Tires are at least 25 years old and while they appear in fine shape you may want to put new ones on if you plan to put significant miles on the car. Brakes work well and stop straight for mechanical. Steering box is tight and easy to steer for the era.
Very rare to find a V8 Victoria in this condition.
